📢 We're Hiring! – Warehouse Team Lead (Part-Time)


📍 Location: Milton Keynes
🕐 Hours: 16 per week (Mon–Thurs)
💷 Salary: £23,809.50 FTE (actual £8,206.32) 
📅 Closing Date: Friday 24th October

Are you organised, practical, and passionate about supporting families in need? 


Baby Basics MK is looking for someone hands on to lead the day-to-day running of our busy warehouse. You’ll work closely with our Project Manager and an amazing team of volunteers to help us support local families with essential baby and child items. 👶🧸


This role involves:
✅ Managing stock and donations
✅ Overseeing referrals
✅ Leading volunteers
✅ Ensuring health & safety
✅ Supporting warehouse logistics
✅ Making a real difference every day!


What we need:
🌟 A strong team player with great organisation
💪 Comfortable with manual handling
💬 Good communication skills
💻 Basic IT knowledge
💖 A heart for the community

For safety reasons, we do not provide car seats. Additionally, when selecting a cot or cot bed, please be aware that mattresses will need to be sourced elsewhere, as we do not supply them.

Baby Basics MK is a non-profit charity dedicated to supporting families living in Milton Keynes and the immediate surrounding area who are in financial hardship.


All families can experience times of difficulty. For some families, these times can be overcome by the support of friends, wider family and access to services. For others they see no way out of the situation and the weight of their problems cause them to feel:


  • Frustrated
  • Afraid
  • Feel not good enough
  • Overwhelmed
  • Isolated


A latest study completed by MK Community Foundation  estimated (10,900) 17.7% of children are living in poverty,  although some areas of Milton Keynes show child poverty rates as high as 32%.*
